

After a very popular first edition in 2021 despite the health crisis the world was facing, Jeicom23 delivered in terms of the results achieved, the mobilization, the quality of the participants and the topical issues discussed.
The show of force, took place right from the opening of Jeicom23. Once again, the event benefited from the privilege of the Very High Patronage of the Head of State His Excellency Paul BIYA, who dispatched in a special way, the Prime Minister and Head of Government, for the occasion . Surrounded by almost the entire Government cabinet, Chief Dr Dion NGUTE demonstrated through this mobilization, the support of the State of Cameroon for the vision of the UCCC, in favor of the economic and financial autonomy of the territories, borne by the concept of “productive councils”.
On June 1, 2023, the exhibition center shone brightly in the colors of more than 230 companies from 25 countries . For three days, the site welcomed more than 20,000 participants gathered around 50 thematic sessions , over 500 B2Bs, and over a hundred exhibition stands.
The 2023 edition saw the remarkable participation of 17 companies from the French business movement, MEDEF . The most prestigious portfolios of the Cac 40 want to invest in the promising sectors of the Cameroonian economy. Donors such as the European Investment Bank, Proparco and the African Development Bank in particular, are also interested in the vision carried by the UCCC in favor of the economic and financial empowerment of territories. Local financial institutions have also subscribed to this commitment by making substantial lines of credit available for the financing of projects in Councils.
This, is the meaning of the donors’ conference organized on May 31, 2023 by the UCCC, on the sidelines of Jeicom23.
